Buv’Kah and his Departure
Buvkah, shrieking in rage at again being defeated yet again, emerges from polymorph and hurled the elixir he was holding at the weekend central crystal right before him. The glass shatters, and a thick red liquid spreads across the crystal, and you can hear a sound much like the flexing of a frozen lake in spring time coming from the center of the gem.
The rats with you suddenly started to go feral, screeching and howling, writing on the floor, scratching at their ears.
Buv’Kah laughs evilly, says a word of power, and vanishes with a small ‘pop’ of air.
The Abjurer
The Abjurer, still chained to the back, starts to progressively start ranting more and more vehemently, and if left for long, will start frothing at the mouth and eyes will start to turn bloodshot and rage filled.
Due to the Curse of Mekk – History & Insight gave the party context.
Central Crystal – Was the focus for the whole network of crystals around the town, now it is has been corrupted, most likely the network holding back the desert, it’s Blood Riders, and the various evils of the area (such as that stuff in the cemetary…) is weakening too
At this point Senko destroyes the remaining ruins of the Nexus Crystal, the Abjurer returns to a calmer state, and they let him loose.
The Rats flee, and crowing happily about the destroyed Crystal.
A long conversation is had. about local politics, who can help, what he can and cant do.

The Squirrels – Contract

count them tails…”
As they leave the Abjurer, and start their walk through town, they find selves faced with a single squirrel before them, waiting in the centre of the path ahead.
He is standing calmly, cleaning a paw while they approach.
A rolled up scroll beside him and a tree behind him for easy escape.
As they arrive, he will talk to them in Squirrelly, which no one speaks it or casts “Commune with Animals”, then they means the DM Squeaks a lot, while pointing at Senko, gesturing vaguely, and then hanging them the scroll in a formal fashion with both hands.
Only the players noticed thanks to some terrible perception rolls, but there were squirrel-enforcers hiding in all directions (see image)
